11th R7VA 2025 - Verifications at Fruges The 11th Edition of the Rallye Seven Vallees Artois took place at the beginning of November. Eighty six crews turned up to compete on the 12 specials at six locations totalling just under 150km over a mixture of mud and tarmac. These pictures show most of the cars as they prepare to advance to Technical Verifications. La 11e édition du Rallye des Sept Vallées d'Artois s'est déroulée début novembre. Quatre-vingt-six équipages se sont affrontés sur les 12 spéciales, réparties sur six sites, pour un total d'un peu moins de 150 km sur un parcours mêlant boue et asphalte. 		11th R7VA 2025 - ES1 Contes The first test of the 11th Rallye Seven Vallees Artois was the 14.8km Contes special. Fast tracks on a mixture of broken tarmac and muddy farm tracks got the rally off to a flying start. In T1A Chris Bird took 1st place 1.5 seconds ahead of Stephan Barthe and 2.8 seconds ahed of Aston Cox in third place. In T1B Florent Deleans beat Maxime Capel by 11.6 seconds. For T2 Mark Thomas took first place with Andy Sargeant 10.7 seconds behind and in the SSV group Kevin Bigeard beat Guillaume Noirot by 12.4. The pictures show the action 2km from the end of the special. La première spéciale du 11e Rallye des Sept Vallées d'Artois était la spéciale Contes, longue de 14,8 km. Un parcours rapide, alternant asphalte défoncé et chemins agricoles boueux, a donné un départ fulgurant au rallye. Dans la spéciale 1A, Chris Bird a pris la première place avec 1,5 seconde d'avance sur Stephan Barthe et 2,8 secondes sur Aston Cox, troisième. Dans la spéciale 1B, Florent Deleans a devancé Maxime Capel de 11,6 secondes. Dans la spéciale 2, Mark Thomas s'est imposé, suivi d'Andy Sargeant à 10,7 secondes. 		11th R7VA 2025 - ES3 Coupelle Vielle P1 SSV & T2 The special at Coupelle Neuve saw the some slippery muddy tracks form part of the route. Part of the course had been modified so the 11.5km course had been shortened by 1.3km. The muddy climb at the camera location tested some of the drivers abilities to keep in the rutted track. First in SSV was Guillaume Noirot by 12.0 seconds. In T2 the Landrovers built by Dean Harmes finished in equal first place with Andy Sargeant and Chris Brennan each finishing 3.0 seconds ahead of Mark Thomas in the new Defender. L'épreuve spéciale de Coupelle Neuve comportait des portions boueuses et glissantes. Une partie du parcours avait été modifiée, raccourcissant ainsi les 11,5 km de 1,3 km. La montée boueuse au niveau des caméras a mis à l'épreuve la capacité de certains pilotes à rester sur la piste défoncée. Guillaume Noirot a remporté la catégorie SSV avec 12 secondes d'avance. Centred around Matringhem the drying ground conditions had provided fast tracks with lots of grip suiting the cars with plenty of power. In SSV Guillaume Noirot took first place, whilst in T2 the new style Defender driven by Mark Thomas returned the fastest time. L'épreuve spéciale de Lugy, longue de 14,9 km, était la plus longue de la 11e édition du rallye des Sept Vallées d'Artois. Passant par Matringhem, le terrain, qui séchait, offrait des pistes rapides et adhérentes, idéales pour les voitures puissantes. En SSV, Guillaume Noirot s'est imposé, tandis qu'en T2, le Defender nouvelle génération piloté par Mark Thomas a réalisé le meilleur temps. 		11th R7VA 2025 - ES5 Lugy P2 T1 4WD & 2WD The 14.9km Lugy special was the longest of the 11th edition of the Seven Vallees d'Artois rally. Centred around Matringhem the drying ground conditions had provided fast tracks with lots of grip suiting the cars with plenty of power. There was quite a long delay after the T2 cars had passed through and this impacted on the daylight and filming of the later running cars. Stephane Barthe took first in the 4WD group 2.5 seconds ahead of Chris Bird. In the 2WD group Sebastien Lafleur beat Gregory Cottereaux by 2.0 seconds. La spéciale de Lugy, longue de 14,9 km, était la plus longue de la 11e édition du rallye des Sept Vallées d'Artois. Passant par Matringhem, elle offrait, grâce à un terrain qui séchait, des pistes rapides et adhérentes, idéales pour les voitures puissantes. Un long retard s'est produit après le passage des voitures T2, impactant la luminosité et le tournage des dernières voitures engagées. Stéphane Barthe a remporté la catégorie 4 roues motrices avec 2,5 secondes d'avance sur Chris Bird. Chez les 2 roues motrices, Sébastien Lafleur a devancé Grégory Cottereaux de 2 secondes. In the SSV group Guillaume Noirot took first with Cedric Lafontan second 8.2 seconds behind. In T2 Bruno Bartolin led mark Thomas by 11.2 seconds. In T1 4WD Chris Bird led Gregory Vincent by 6.4 seconds and in T1 2WD Michael Jonnaux tied for first place with Sebastien Lafleur with Gregory Cottereaux in third just 0.9 seconds behind. 		11th R7VA 2025 - ES9 Matringhem For the first attempt at the 12.6km Matringhem special, rain showers and a strong wind swept along the hills around the windfarm. After many retirements 62 crews were able to complete the special. In SSV Guillaume Noirot took first place 13.7 seconds ahead of Mickael Pincon. In T2 Bruno Bartolin beat Mark Thomas by 7.8 seconds. In T2 4WD Aston Cox beat Chris Bird by 6.2 seconds and in 2WD Sebastien Lafleur finished 13.2 seconds ahead of Gregory Cottereaux. Pour la première édition de la spéciale de Matringhem (12,6 km), des averses et un vent violent ont balayé les collines entourant le parc éolien. Après de nombreux abandons, 62 équipages ont pu terminer la course. En SSV, Guillaume Noirot a remporté la victoire avec 13,7 secondes d'avance sur Mickael Pincon. 		11th R7VA 2025 - ES 11 Canlers The penultimate test of the 11th R7VA was the second attempt at the 12.8km Canlers special. As the showers of rain passed through the crews focussed their attentions on getting their best results amongst the remaining cars in each group. Ist in SSV were Guillaume Noirot & Eleanor Hauterre. In T2 Bruno Bartolin and Christophe Pannier were the leaders. In the T1B 2WD Group Michael Jonnaux & Stephane Le Gosles were in first place. For the T1 Group where a tight race for first place was taking place Chris Bird & Anthony Brinkmann took the special 4.8 seconds ahead of Jerome Bricheux & Sabrina Sevestre. L'avant-dernière épreuve de la 11e R7VA était la deuxième tentative sur la spéciale de Canlers, longue de 12,8 km. Malgré les averses passagères, les équipages se sont concentrés sur l'obtention de leurs meilleurs résultats parmi les voitures restantes dans chaque groupe. Guillaume Noirot et Eleanor Hauterre ont terminé premiers en SSV. En T2, Bruno Bartolin et Christophe Pannier ont pris la tête.
