2018 with
The Cimes Tractors This is a collection of pictures showing action from the Cimes Tractors of Andy Sargeant during 2018. The original 391 car was used for the first event, the Rallye du Labourd in South West France in April. Also included is action from The Rallye Jean de la Fontaine in May, the Goodwood Festival of Speed in July, The Rallye des Cimes in September, The Rallye of the Seven Vallees Artois and Rallye of the Plaines and Vallees, both in September. Ceci est une collection de photos montrant l’action des Cimes Tractors d’Andy Sargeant en 2018. La première voiture 391 a été utilisée pour la première épreuve, le Rallye du Labourd, dans le sud-ouest de la France, en avril. Sont également inclus les actions du Rallye Jean de la Fontaine en mai, du Festival de vitesse de Goodwood en juillet, du Rallye des Cimes en septembre, du Rallye des Sept Vallées Artois et du Rallye des Plaines et Vallées, tous deux en septembre. Views of 391, the Landrover Defender of Andy Sargeant & Chris Hammond
seen on five of the specials at the 42nd Edition of the Rallye du
Labourd, held in the Pyrenees near Biarritz in SW France in April 2018.
Andy and Chris secured the win in the Production Vehicles Group with a
commanding drive resulting in a winning margin of 12'24.4 gained over
the twelve special stages.

Rallye Jean
de la Fontaine 2018 - 390 Andy Sargeant A brief report following the progress of Landrover Defender 390 crewed by Andy Sargeant and Chris Hammond at the 43rd Rallye Jean de la Fontaine held at Soissons in the Aisne during May 2018. This was the first competition for the new car. The 391, long wheelbase Defender has been a familiar sight at French rallies for several years. The new Defender has the same wheelbase but the body has been shortened and other modifications made to reduce the overall weight by 300Kgs. It has the same type of engine, a TD5 and Quaiffe sequential gearbox so we were keen to see how the improvements would perform on the track. Résumé succinct des progrès du Landrover Defender 390 avec Andy Sargeant et Chris Hammond lors du 43ème Rallye Jean de la Fontaine qui s'est tenu à Soissons dans l'Aisne en mai 2018. Ce fut la première compétition pour la nouvelle voiture. Le Defender 391 à empattement long est un spectacle familier des rallyes français depuis plusieurs années. Le nouveau Defender a le même empattement mais la carrosserie a été raccourcie et d’autres modifications ont été apportées pour réduire le poids total de 300 kg. Il possède le même type de moteur, une boîte séquentielle TD5 et Quaiffe, nous avons donc hâte de voir comment les améliorations se dérouleraient sur la piste.
