AWDC Safari Bovington April 2025 The second round of the 2025 AWDC Safari Championship took place on Wool Heath Bovington on Sunday 27th April. Blessed with excellent weather the ground conditions were ideal for racing on a site that can be quite a challenge if the weather is unkind. The 6.2 mile course was marked out by Clerk Of The Course Bruce Tigwell aided by Tim Tennant, James Tennant, Mike Arthur and myself. A "Look See" reconaissance escorted lap of the marked course took place on the Saturday afternoon. Thirty three vehicles were presented for the action which commenced at 0930. 	AWDC Safari Penybont - 22nd June 2025 Round 4 of the 2025 AWDC/Britpart Competitive Safari Championship took place at Paul Rowlands excellent farm location in the hills to the East of Llandridnod Wells in mid Wales. 44 teams competed of which 33 qualified as finishers. The pictures illustrate the varied terrain attempted by the crews over the 5.8mile course which had to be attempted 8 times. Clerk of the Course was Leighton Dodds who was assisted in the marking out of the tracks by Bruce Tigwell, Tim Tennant, Adam Borell, Mike Arthur and myself. 	AWDC 50th Minehead Memories Round 5 of the 2025 AWDC-Britpart Competitive Safari Championship took place at Roland Lytton's excellent Great Headon woodland location in the hills to the West of Minehead in Somerset on 20th July 2025. Thirty three teams competed of which 24 qualified as finishers. The pictures illustrate the varied terrain attempted by the crews over the 5.1mile course which had to be attempted 8 times.
